Ms. Liao was an Associate with World Development Group. She completed projects regarding the evaluation of health information systems, automated coding tools, and claim/code auditing systems, the identification of trends and issues in managed care, and the quality of health information on the Internet. Prior to joining WDG, Ms. Liao was a research assistant for the University of Virginia Medical Center where she studied the utilization of urgent care facilities.

Ms. Liao received her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Virginia, and, during her employment with WDG, completed her Masters in Public Health at the Johns Hopkins University.
